Is there such a thing as being too nice?

It could be true but you should never really let it change you as a person it's unfortunate in my opinion when a woman will take advantage of a man because she knows he's so nice and there won't be a consequence.

Now that i look back on everything i see how much i have changed. I still try to be nice and do small things nothing over the top like i use to do. I'm older now so its time for me to make better choices than before so i take my time when dealing with women. Thanks for the reply..

Being too nice will only land you in one plce, and that's the "FRIENDSHIP ZONE!!!!!!!!!) In actuality, there's nothing wrong with being nice, and it can be a plus for some people, but we are talking about women here man...You can't make yourself too available for a chick because they will take advantage of it, in the back of their minds they feel like they can call you for anything, get anything from you, and just plain use you. I was just like you landin in friendship zone ports all over, and I got tired of it. You have to use ur judgement and make sure you get something back in return for it. Because if you don't ensure that now, when u do ask for something, she will give u that crazy look like " he never asked for anything before, so why he askin now?" Keep yourself busy and use good judgement when it comes to being nice for a female. Hell I am married and am i still nice to my wife, yes, but I determine when it's necessary to be nice. Once the floodgates open on you being nice, its pretty much a done deal, and it doesn't hurt to tell her no once in a while, and feel good about it, because in the end she will still respect you and realize that you aren't a pushover and that she will develop a new respect for you by not being so nice.

no... i think that the girls you might've been dealing with are exactly that.. girls... it takes a real woman to appreciate a man that treats her right... don't ever let anyone change you.. just get smarter... be nice to the women that appreciates you. I tell you this... a woman like me landed a man that was considered "too nice" to other females and I am so happy.... Good luck hun and I hope you find that one woman who will appreciate you for you and your kindness :-)

You just need to find some better ladies. Too nice? I guess that's possible, but it may be that you are just not their type and they are afraid to say it. Ladies, we should keep it real with the fellas, there's a nice and friendly grown ass way to say I think you are cool people, but I don't see us in that way.

I do not think there is such thing as being too nice. However, there is such a thing as not asserting yourself. There comes a time where we know we are not appreciated but continue to be nice to that person doing us wrong. You have to give and recieve. Creating that balance is the key.
