You are absolutely right about that. Plus size women are often over looked at the design table, like we can't or shouldn't strut our stuff in a fabulous frock. A few years ago, plus size fashion was a joke. You pretty much had to chose from what's at Lane Bryant or one of the five outfits they put way in the back of a mall or department store. So every big gurl you saw had on the same thing and the styles weren't even that flattering. There has been a dramatic shift lately though and trendy, unique plus size clothes are readily available through the internet. Some of my fav sites are bandlu.com, torrid.com, justforcurves.com, evogues.com, plussizefix.com. igigi.com, sizeappeal.com and avenue.com. Those are just a few of many though. A google search with the search terms of trendy plus size clothing will give you a lot more sites that you can chose from. Hope that helps!

NikkiLee we should go shopping 2gether girl!!!! I shop at evogues, torrid, plus-siz fix, baby-phat, and apple bottoms (online). And (I'm not sure if everyone has these stores in your area) but TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Ross are good options when you're low on funds or you don't want to deal with the S&H of your goods. I Luv Ed hardy jeans for us plus-sized girls. I have never had skinny jeans hug so snug and fit just right : ).

I've pretty much shopped at most of the stores listed by each individual and still no luck. My thing is when i go to torrid the smallest size fits too baggy in the front like i'm carrying something. Then I go to the skinny girl stores and their largest size is too damn small. Can I get an "size in between" store? lol My two sisters are the same way, sometimes we have to settle and get alterations, but I'm a major procrastinator so I need items at that very moment. Plus Las Vegas arent u on fashion as oppose to other cities, if all fails my sisters and I know that old navy wont let us down when it comes to jeans. Do I have to really have to get online to shop for items in my size...

I like H&M, Gap and OldNavy. I think it's about taking the things you find and maiking them look fashion forward. i always have co-worker and my neighbors ask where i shop and it's usually the same places they go but i just know how to hook stuff up, and never underestimate the power of accessories.

I LOVE TORRID!! THAT STORE CAN DO NO WRONG TO ME!! Also, XXI...the just started a plus size line and it's FAB!!
